Hilltown house ransacked during burglary

Police in South Down are appealing for information following a burglary in Hilltown. burglary3On Saturday, 2nd April, entry was forced to a house in Glenveigh and the property was ransacked. Two males were seen running away from the scene around 7.30pm. During house to house enquiries police discovered that an attempt had been made to enter a second house in the area. One of the males is described as being in his late teens and was wearing a blue mask and light blue hat.
