South Armagh theft sparks police investigation

Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for information following the theft of cattle.

rural1Sometime between 12 noon on Wednesday, 16th March and 7am on Thursday, 17th March, six cattle, including two calves, were taken from a farmyard on Glenmore Road, Mullaghbawn.

The cattle are a variety of male and female and are red or dun in colour.

It is believed a trailer was used to remove the cattle from a shed.

Police would like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity in the area during this time. They can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 228 170316.
