The Group is a registered charity which supports the care of children in the community who are being fostered. Foster carers undertake a magnificent role in providing a warm and caring home for children who cannot be looked after by their birth families. The Foster Care Support Group provides peer support between carers and organises a range of events and training in the community. The Southern Health and Social Care Trust is always recruiting foster carers, for short or long term placements and to provide respite care. If you have time and space in your life for fostering and are interested in finding out more – Tel: 028 3833 7181 or Email: fostering&adoption@southerntrust.hscni.net.
