Author Ger Siggins meets children from St Patrick’s, Hilltown

To celebrate World Book Day EASONS, located at Buttercrane Shopping Centre, hosted a book reading. WBD Newry 2016 Ger Siggins 013Guest at the shopping centre was Dublin born author Gerard Siggins. He spoke to 60 children from St Patrick’s in Hilltown. Gerard – author of the Rugby Spirit series of books for children – is a former sports journalist.

LearnSpark1He was also Assistant Editor of the Sunday Tribune. Gerard read extracts of his fast paced mystery ‘Rugby Flyer’ and answered questions from the children during their visit to Easons at Buttercrane Shopping Centre on World Book Day, 3rd March.
