Police appeal after two Newry burglaries

Police in Newry are appealing for information following two burglaries. burglary4Sometime between 5pm on Saturday, 23rd January and 1am on Sunday, 24th January entry was gained to houses in Thomas Street and Church Street. A gold ring and gold chain were stolen from Church Street. Detective Constable Gina Quinn said, “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in these areas during these times. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 1081 240116.” He added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
