Witnesses sought after South Armagh theft

Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for information following a theft.

psni58Sometime between Tuesday, 19th January and Friday, 22nd January, a life size bronze statue of a man and woman sitting on a bench reading a book was stolen from the garden of a house on Newtown Road, Meigh.

The statue is large and heavy and would have required a vehicle or trailer to transport it.

Police would like to hear from anyone who has information that may assist their investigation. They can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 984 220116. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
