Attempted theft of ATM Machine in Mayobridge

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an incident at a service station in the Newry Road area of Mayobridge during the early hours of Wednesday morning, 11th November. psniIt was reported that at around 3am two unknown men attempted to steal an ATM machine at the service station. Damage was caused to the machine as a result, however nothing was stolen during the incident. Detective Sergeant Wallace is appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that could assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Ardmore Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
