Sinn Fein Councillor Terry Hearty has thanked all those who helped make this year’s South Armagh Halloween Festival “yet another outstanding success.” halloween3“The South Armagh Halloween Festival gets bigger and better every year and is fast becoming the number one family day out in the area,” he told Newry Times. “Families from all over Armagh, Down, Louth and Monaghan packed into The Square all day Saturday to enjoy the festivities. Pumpkin carving, bouncy castles amusement rides and a whole host of other activities were on in The Square with other events happening in different parts of the town. Even the weather was on our side. Hearty added, “It was a great family day out and it wouldn’t have been possible without the likes of the Crossmaglen Community Centre, the Rangers, the Fire and Rescue Service and everyone else who helped make the event yet another outstanding success.”
