Buttercrane launch GoTo shop trolley for children with special needs
Buttercrane Centre Management is the first Shopping Centre in Northern Ireland to purchase a GoTo Shop Trolley to suit older children with special needs.
Buttercrane Shopping Centre Manager Peter Murray said that it was part of their recent commitment to be a centre ‘for everyone’ and follows on from investments in a Sensory Zone, New Parent & Baby facilities, an upgraded Mothering Room and the addition of a new ‘Space to Change’ disabled facility.
The Trolley, developed by the Postural Support experts, Firefly in Lisburn, is available in the centre located next to the main entrance from the car park on the ground floor and is suitable for use by children up to 35kg.
Claire Smyth, Community Manager, said, “We’re delighted that Buttercrane Shopping Centre now has a GoTo Shop Trolley. Alongside a Sensory Room and Space to Change facility Buttercrane Shopping Centre is really leading the way in meeting the needs of special needs families and creating an easier, stress free and enjoyable shopping experience for the whole family.”
