Call for witnesses after theft from Newry GAA pitch

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of Perspex sheets. psni49Sometime between Thursday, 1st October and Saturday, 3rd October, perspex sheets were stolen from a GAA pitch on Dorans Hill. Constable Stephen Cunningham said, “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any activity around the pitch during this time or anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 1076 051015.” He added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
