Road safety measures in Hilltown ‘remain a priority’

Sinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane, who says she has been ‘in constant contact’ with Transport NI regarding improving safety measures in Hilltown, has welcomed the completion of the new footpath on the main street. ruanecaitSpeaking to Newry Times, Ruane added, “I am very pleased to see the completion of this footpath and will be working with Transport NI to continue to improve safety measures in the area. “In particular I have been assured by Transport NI that the 30mph roundels which I have been campaigning for will be installed as quickly as possible,” she added.
