Teenage boy injured in Newry assault

Police are investigating an assault in the area of Kileavey Road, Newry and have made an appeal for information. psni13It was reported that a teenage boy had been assaulted by a number of other people sometime between 1am and 2am on August 9th. He sustained bruising to his face and a chipped tooth. Speaking to Newry Times, Const. Ellie May said, “If you can help with enquiries please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 68710815. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
