Newry police keen to identify man ‘acting suspiciously’ in housing estate

Police in Newry are keen to identify a man who was in the Mourneview area on Friday, 31st July. psni17Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Caroline Bell said, “We received a report of a male acting suspiciously in an alleyway close to Mourneview Park around 8pm on Friday, 31st July. “We are keen to establish the exact circumstances of this incident and would like the male, who is described as being around 20 years old and was wearing a dark hoody, to contact us. She added, “We would also like to hear from anyone who was in this area at this time and noticed anything suspicious or untoward. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 569 010815.”
