On Thursday 23rd April from 12.30- 2pm Think People Consulting will be running a free seminar on HR Essentials in the Newry Conference and Banqueting Centre. Attendees will get an overview of their legal requirements, creating flexibility in contracts and policies, dealing with disciplinary and grievances and things to look out for in 2015. This is the essential tool kit to minimise risk, avoid potential legal claims and improve your ability to handle challenging HR issues. Think People Managing Partner Anne Dougan commented, “Whether you want to refresh your HR knowledge, are new to HR or have a non-HR job with HR responsibilities, the seminar will give you a good understanding of the HR essentials for every organisation and on recent legislative changes and those to come.” Think People also provide the DEL funded Engage Programme for Leadership and Management which they plan to bring to Newry this April. This practical programme is perfect for line managers, project team leaders or anyone managing teams and allows those who take part to build their competencies, with a focus on managing and implementing change and maximising employee performance. The programme has had great feedback from previous participants who stated that it was “A great course with good content & very well delivered”. The Department for Employment and Learning are currently offering 50% funding for places on this course. For more information or to book a place on the Free HR Essentials seminar or Engage Programme, contact Think People at info@thinkpeople.co.uk or 028 90 310450.
