This March/April Think People Consulting will be bringing the highly successful, ILM accredited Engage Programme for Leadership and Management to Newry. This practical programme is perfect for line managers, project team leaders or anyone managing teams and allows those who take part to build their competencies, with a focus on managing and implementing change and maximising employee performance. The programme has had great feedback from previous participants who stated that, “The course was well delivered and all the content was very relevant to new and existing managers to develop themselves and their teams”. The Department for Employment and Learning are currently offering 50% funding for places on this course. Think People Managing Partner Emer Hinphey commented, “The Engage Programme gives delegates an opportunity to consider current thinking and develop a tool kit and the skills to create engagement with their teams and deliver improved performance and results”. On Thursday 23rd April from 12.30pm – 2pm Think People Consulting will also be running a free seminar on HR Essentials in the Newry Conference and Banqueting Centre. Attendees will get an overview of their legal requirements, creating flexibility in contracts and policies, dealing with disciplinary issues and grievances and things to look out for in 2015. This is the essential tool kit to minimise risk, avoid potential legal claims and improve your ability to handle challenging HR issues. For more information or to book a place on the Engage Programme or Free HR Essentials seminar, contact Think People at info@thinkpeople.co.uk or 028 90 310450.
