Constable Garry Young said, “The Audi drove off with no lights on, going the wrong way up Kildare Street and heading on along Sandy’s Street and Stream Street at speed. “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or observed this vehicle around the area during this time. We would also like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 88160115.” If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
