St Paul’s High School Bessbrook was the venue for a Community Relations Seminar recently. This event was hosted by the Chief Constable, Sir George Hamilton and PSNI Chief Inspector, Davy Beck. In addition to the St Paul’s students, a selection of GCSE and A level History and Sociology students from St Joseph’s High School in Crossmaglen, Newry High School and Newtownhamilton High School also attended the talk. Afterwards the students engaged in a very informative question and answer session which enabled interesting discussion around areas including the role of the Chief Constable, Policing and Justice, Cyber- Crime and Community Initiatives. The event was very successful and further cements the key relationships which this partnership of schools has established through their involvement in a wide range of shared education initiatives over the past four years.
