St. Paul’s High School, Bessbrook has officially launched a new cross-community primary school sports project known as Best Ball. The programme is a cross-community sports initiative aimed around the concept of team-work, mutual respect and cultural appreciation. Through the initiative P7 pupils from Cloughreagh and Bessbrook Primary schools are being coached a modified form of Olympic Handball. The pupils from both schools will meet twice before the end of June to have a mini festival where they will get to show off the skills they have learned over the course of the programme.
