Cannabis factory uncovered in South Armagh

Local police officers from E District’s Support Unit have uncovered a cannabis factory during searches to support a HMRC investigation in South Armagh. During the search in Concession Road police found a cannabis factory in an outhouse. Speaking to Newry Times, Sergeant Mark Wright said, “We recovered between 19 cannabis plants, lamps and other paraphernalia. “We arrested a 52 year old man for possession of Class b drugs and cultivating cannabis. He is currently assisting us with our enquiries.”
