Crotlieve Sinn Féin Councillor Mick Murphy has arranged for Newry and Mourne District Council to install a series of posts on the pavement along Bridge Street to prevent dangerous parking. “After a number of complaints from residents and one incident in which a women narrowly escaped serious injury,” Councillor Murphy said, “ I called on the council to install posts on the pavements to prevent this kind of parking continuing. “I have now asked for further work to be done at the top of Bridge Street where this incident took place.”
