Witnesses sought after three South Armagh burglaries

Police in South Armagh are investigating three burglaries in the Mullaghbawn and Forkhill areas which were reported to police on the evening of Wednesday 17th December. “Two houses at Clochain Fold in Mullaghbawn and a house at Mill Road in Forkhill were targeted sometime after 6pm on Wednesday evening. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Harrison said, “Entry was gained to the three properties but it is unclear at this time if anything has been taken. “At this stage we are investigating a link between the burglaries and are appealing for anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in Mullaghbawn or Forkhill areas to contact officers in Newtownhamilton on 101, quoting reference number 1076161214. “Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
