Police appeal after Newry car set on fire

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an arson.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Philip Kelly explained, “Around 11.38pm on Wednesday, 26th November, we received a report of a car on fire at The Demesne. NIFRS attended and extinguished the fire.

“We believe this fire was deliberate and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed any activity around this area prior to the outbreak of the fire or has information in relation to this incident to contact us in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 1278261114.”
