On Friday 17th October Bellinis in Newry will be getting ready to rumble as the newly trained White Collar Boxers from the local area take to the ring for their moment of glory. Over the next number of weeks the contenders will be involved in an intensive training programme to get them battle-ready for their night in the spotlight. This Boxing Extravaganza promises to be nothing short of explosive with members from all over the Newry area fighting to land the winning blow. Money raised from the exciting event will be going to the Rheumatology Ward, Musgrave Hospital, Belfast. On the night there will White Collar Boxing Matches and there will be a prediction sheet for people to predict the outcome or back their friends/family! During the break there will be a raffle with really good prizes thanks to the kind donations from local Newry businesses. After the boxing there is a 80-90s disco and also special performances from Newry’s finest: the ladies of Pole Toned Newry. All donations are gladly received and any further donations to the raffle from businesses are kindly appreciated. Tickets have sold out, but there will be room left so paying at the door on the night will be fine too.
