Five cars damaged in Bessbrook incident

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a report of criminal damage at the Gardens, Clogharevan area of Bessbrook. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Arbuthnot said, “Sometime overnight between midnight and 10am on Saturday 20th September, it was reported that five cars parked in the area were damaged. “It is believed all the cars received damage to the side of their vehicles. Enquiries are continuing. “Officers in Newry Police Station can be contacted on the 101 non-emergency number and anyone with any information should quote reference 448200914. He added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
