Newry police investigate car attacks

Police in Newry are appealing for information following two incidents of criminal damage that occurred on the afternoon of Friday 7th February. At approximately 1.15pm, it was reported that the back windscreen of a Renault car had been damaged in the Abbey Heights area. At approximately 2.05pm, it was reported that a Toyota car had been damaged by a brick in the Dunbrae area. Anyone with any information about these incidents is asked to contact Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
