Car windscreen smashed in Newry attack

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of damage to a car in the Parkhead Crescent area in the early hours of Sunday 26th January. The rear windscreen of a parked Peugeot 306 car was smashed at around 4.45am by persons unknown. Police are appealing to anyone who may have noticed a small car such as a Renault Clio or Vauxhall Corsa being driven in the area at the time or any suspicious activity to contact them in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000. Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
