Police investigate double house burglary

Police are appealing for information following the report of two burglaries in the Tullymacreeve Road area of Newtownhamilton on Wednesday 4th December. It was reported that some time overnight Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th December two houses under construction were broken into by forcing windows to gain entry. Wiring and plumbing items were taken from the properties which resulted in substantial damage being caused. Police would ask anyone who was in the area of the Tullymacreeve Road and noticed any suspicious activity or witnessed the burglary or has any information to contact Police at Newtownhamilton on 0845 600 8000.
