Business, What's On
Business owners in Newry are being invited to apply to take part in a business showcase event being held in the Newry branch of Danske Bank from Monday 2nd December to Saturday 7th December. Katherine James, Head of Small Business at Danske Bank said, “We are delighted to announce our first Business Showcase Week. The businesses which will thrive and grow will be the ones which keep pace with change and adapt to new market places. “There are many innovative and successful businesses in Newry and this is a great opportunity for one of those businesses to showcase their products and services to potential new customers in our branch in the heart of the town. “The Business Showcase Week will culminate on the UK’s first Small Business Saturday on 7th December, which is all about encouraging small businesses to promote themselves in their local community and celebrating the role local, small, independent businesses have in our economy.” Danske Bank’s Business Showcase Week is part of the bank’s new Business eVolution programme which aims to get small businesses thinking about the ways consumers now pay, shop, communicate and do their banking. This includes seminars in branches where small businesses can get expert advice and practical support on how to adapt and target the consumer of the future. For more information and to apply to take part in Danske Bank’s Business Showcase Week visit danskebank.co.uk/evolution. The deadline for applications is 18th November 2013.
