Police probe Forkhill burglary

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following an armed robbery of commercial premises in the Forkhill Road area of Newry.

Police received a report at approximately 8.50pm on Tuesday, 25th June that an unknown male, holding a knife, had entered the premises. He then made off with a sum of money.

The male assistant was not injured however he was left very badly shaken.

Police would ask anyone who may have noticed a dark convertible vehicle in the area or who has any information to contact Detectives at Newry on 0845 600 8000.
