JLS Newry concert to go ahead despite split
The highly anticipated JLS concert set for Newry on Thursday 1st August is expected to go ahead despite the group revealing they are set to split up.
Local management company Abbey Event Management this week launched the World Police and Fire Games Concert featuring JLS and friends, to be held in Pairc Esler.
Abbey Events Director, Paul McCann stated, “We are very pleased to announce a very exciting concert lineup including JLS, Keywest, Microlip and many others.”
McCann added that the nominated charity of the World Police and Fire Games, the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, would be a beneficiary of the event.
Mayor of Newry and Mourne District Council, Councillor John McArdle, stated that he was very pleased that Newry and Mourne District Council will be involved in the organisation of the event and congratulated Abbey Event Management and the World Police and Fire Games on agreeing to hold such a prestigious event in Newry.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children stated that they are very pleased to be appointed as the World Police and Fire Games nominated Charity and wished Abbey Events every success with their concert on the 1st August.
Tickets will be available at Ticket Master and local outlets which will be announced in the near future.
