Two cars set on fire in North Street attacks

Police in Newry are investigating incidents of criminal damage caused to cars in the North Street area of the City.

At approximately 2.40am on the morning of Tuesday 12th March it was reported that a red Toyota Avensis car had been set on fire. Extensive damage was caused to the interior of the vehicle.

Shortly before 4.55am on the morning of Sunday 17th March it was reported that a silver coloured Volkswagen Polo car had been set on fire. Extensive damage was caused to the vehicle.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or who has any information to contact them at Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000.
