Birds and dog food taken in Kilkeel Pet Centre burglary

Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information following a burglary from Kilkeel Pet Centre on Rooney Road.

Some time overnight between Tuesday, 22th January and Wednesday, 23rd January, entry to the premises was forced and three birds were taken, along with a large quantity of dog food.

Two hand reared cockatiels and a hand reared Indian Ring Neck parrot were taken.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident or the whereabouts of the birds, to contact them in Kilkeel on 0845 600 8000.
