Police appeal for witnesses to Camlough Road hammer and knife incident

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident on Camlough Road. At around 3.30pm on Monday, 19th November, three vans blocked a car on the road close to the traffic lights before the turn off to Carnagat Road. It is claimed that the occupants of the vans produced a hammer and knife before the car drove off from the area. Police believe the Camlough Road would have been busy around this time and are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
