Ruane offers best wishes to local footballers

Sinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane has offered Kilcoo GAC and St Peter’s Warrenpoint footballers every success in this year’s Ulster Finals to be played on the 2nd December.

Speaking to Newry Times, Ms. Ruane stated, “The Down GAA community can be very proud of their exploits in 2012 as we have seen all codes excel right throughout the year.

“This year we seen the camogs compete at the highest level and I am sure that Kilcoo GAC and St Peters Warrenpoint will again do the County proud.

She added, “The fantastic exploits of Kilcoo and Warrenpoint this year has been outstanding, and their huge effort and hard work has paid off. You are a credit and have proved your pedigree winning so much this year.

“I would like to send them my best wishes for the weekend and look forward to seeing more champions back to Co.Down.”
