Sinn Féin Councillor Packie McDonald has welcomed the recovery of a tractor that was stolen from Monaghan and found at Dromintee Community Centre Car Park. Speaking to Newry Times, Councillor McDonald said, “This is the second time in recent weeks that stolen property has been traced in this area, I want to congratulate the community for their vigilance and their persistence in getting this back to its rightful owner. “I condemn those culprits responsible for this act of theft and I hope it deters others from carrying out criminal acts. The people of this community will continue to be vigilant and report any future criminal activity.”
