The recent Charity Tractor Run raised £2000 for local charity PIPS Newry

This years run took place on Saturday 15th September 2012 and consisted of many local farmers.

A grand total of 57 tractors ran in what is now an annual event in the area. The route was a 17 mile circular course around Saval and some of the most spectacular countryside that South Down has to offer.

The tractors that took part in the run ranged from vintage to modern and many of the vintage tractors have been painstakingly restored while others are still a work in progress. It was all very well thought out which is a credit to all of the organisers.

Chairperson of the Saval Vintage club Micheal Sands would like to thank all who came and participated on the day, all who supported with gifts and donations at the raffle, and to everyone who helped in any way to make the event a great success.
