Police investigate reports of pets ‘food poisoning’

Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following a number of cases of suspected animal poisoning.

Over the last number of weeks police have been notified of the death of four domestic pets, which they believe were poisoned after eating dog food from bags placed around Parkside.

Officers recovered five of these bags and are appealing to anyone who has information about the bags of food to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
