Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault which occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday 27th June.

At approximately 2.30pm, a 39 year old man was walking in the North Street area, near the Trevor Hill junction, when four men walked past him. One of the men punched him, causing a cut to his eyebrow which required hospital treatment.

One of these men was wearing a red top, black bottoms with a white stripe down the side and white trainers. Two of the other men were wearing light coloured shirts, black bottoms and white trainers.
