Louth’s own fashionista and Marshes Shopping Centre’s Personal Stylist, Caroline McElroy, took up the reigns of Jeanius once again on Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd June.

Marshes hosted the futuristic styling event whereby brave shoppers get body scanned in a revolutionary 3D scanner, producing a printed document, confirming exact body measurements. Marshes Dr Denim, Caroline and fashionable friends Niamh and Helen, then gave invaluable jeans advice – including cut, shape and colour – to enable shoppers to purchase the perfect, flattering pair.

195 shoppers tried and tested the 3D Body Scanner – a record for the scanner operators Tailored for You Ltd. Scanned patrons were of all ages, sex, shapes and sizes and featured Newry Times ‘Tom Tailor Jeans’ Winner, Liam McDonald.

Jeanius is a new concept for Ireland, having visited the Emerald Isle just once before (Marshes – October 2011). Marshes are the first retail scheme to twice host the amazing technology.

Harry Traynor, Marshes Shopping Centre Manager said; “Jeanius has once again proved a huge success, breaking all previous scanning records achieved throughout the UK and further afield. Other schemes have provided denim style advice but none have backed up such advice with unquestionable body stats. Marshes are going that extra mile to reward our loyal shoppers.”
