Have you signed up yet for Northern Ireland’s first ever Etape Cycling event which will take place on Sunday 27th May? If not, and you would like to find out more about this spectacular event, Newry and Mourne District Council has organised a Information/Sign up Night in the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre on Thursday 10th May at 7:00 p.m. The event organisers will be on hand to encourage participation and to provide information on the route/registration fee/ prizes etc. Participants will also be encouraged to fundraise for the nominated charity, which is CLIC Sargent. Almost 100 cyclists have already signed up and they are invited to also come along to the information night. So, come along and sign up for this unique event which is inspired by the famous mountain stage of the Tour de France and will see participants take on either 70 miles or 45 mile of stunning mountain roads. This is a chipped event, during which there are two King of the Mountain races. To celebrate your achievement in completing this exciting challenge, the organisers have organised evening entertainment where you can relax and unwind.
