The School for Social Enterprise in Ireland has been offered fifteen bursaries from the Flax Trust, for a new social enterprise business planning programme. The programme, which is also supported by the University of Ulster, leads to an Advanced Diploma award in Social Enterprise.

The programme, set to start in April this year, runs for one year and is aimed at those who have an idea to start a social enterprise or those already in existing organisations and charities who are trying to diversify their income streams through business development.

The programme is part-time and is fully accredited, managed and delivered by the Ulster Business School located at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown.
