Roisin McFeely, Amazing Brains Director

Year 12 students from Abbey Grammar have this week taken part in a ‘Drive for Results’ workshop delivered by local company Amazing Brains. ‘Drive For Results’ has been designed primarily for GCSE students with the aim of helping them develop the study techniques and strategies essential for success in their GCSE exams. During the workshop students engaged in a series of interactive and motivating activities around memory techniques, multisensory learning, time management and revision strategies. Speaking to Newry Times, Company Director Roisin McFeely enthused, “The students were a joy to work with. They were committed and enthusiastic about the programme. The feedback was very positive and they all outlined their intention to use the learning strategies and techniques in the run up and during their GCSE exams.” Amazing Brains aims to Captivate, Motivate and Educate young people about their brain and learning. They deliver seminars in schools, colleges & universities throughout the country. For more information on the programmes they have on offer, check out their website
