Northern Ireland Water has this week warned of possible disruptions to the water supply in Newry over the next couple of days. Due to ongoing watermains rehabilitation across Northern Ireland, several parts of the country, including Newry, will experience necessary disruptions.

The disruptions in Newry are likely to take place on Wednesday 18th January and Thursday 19th January with Hill Street and John Mitchel Place in particular experiencing water shortages. Areas effected should anticipate water shortages for up to 12 hours over the two days. NI Water have stated that the disruptions will last from approximately 8pm on Wednesday night, until 8am on Thursday morning.

NI Water apologises for any inconvenience these planned disruptions may cause.  Customers in affected areas can contact Waterline on 08457 44 00 88 for further information and updates.
