New Pay and Display Parking at Daisy Hill

A new Pay and Display Car Park will open at the main entrance at Daisy Hill Hospital on Monday 4 February.

Car Park C is directly opposite the main entrance, situated between the Mental Health Building and Clanrye House.

The new arrangements have been put in place to help patients accessing the new Outpatients Department at Bernish House.

Anita Carroll, Southern Trust Assistant Director for Support Services explained, “Parking and traffic flow around our busy hospitals is an ongoing issue and we do appreciate that the move of Outpatients and GP Out of Hours to Bernish House in October has presented additional challenges at Daisy Hill.

“We have now reallocated a number of paid parking spaces from Car Park A at the Emergency Department side of the site to Car Park C.

“We encourage staff to use the additional free spaces in Car Park A to help free up Car Park C for patients attending Bernish House or the main hospital building.

“As always, we will keep these new arrangements under review and thank patients, visitors and staff for their ongoing co-operation as we work to improve traffic flow and accessibility around the site,” she added.

Parking enforcement will apply to cars parked in Car Park C without a valid ticket.

The Pay and Display machine is located at Car Park C and charges are:
