Oktoberfest Belfast: Still time to sample the amazing atmosphere

Everyone is invited to join the celebration of food, beer and music at this year’s Oktoberfest held in Kings Hall.

okt7It is held every Friday and Saturday over five weekends from 30th of September – 29th October so there’s still time to go.

The event is now coming to its fourth weekend and the crowds are building every night. With each weekend getting busier and busier the remaining weekends are set to have some amazing atmosphere!

Backed by one of the biggest breweries in Germany, Paulaner; it really is a fantastic event that brings a small slice of the German festival to Northern Ireland’s Capital.

Friday 28th and Saturday 29th is the last weekend of Oktoberfest Belfast 2016 and falls on Halloween. With a spooky theme, ‘Oktoberfest Horror Show’, Oktoberfest Belfast brings all its usual fun and entertainment with the added twist of horror and costume competition with £2,000 worth of prize money to win across the two nights.

october-2016Back in 2013 Oktoberfest Belfast held a Halloween night that really was something special! With Zombie Heidi Girls, Frankenstein and ghouls as servers the night followed a similar trend of all the Oktoberfest fun and festivities with a scary theme.

The room was filled with smoke while witches and pumpkins hung from the celling; the atmosphere was something else. Everyone who attended the Halloween Night loved the eerie twist.

Oktoberfest Belfast has continued year on year without a Halloween night. The organisers have been waiting for the right opportunity to bring back the Horror themed night.

okt6After the success of the German beer tent at the Christmas market in Belfast, it’s no secret that the people of Northern Ireland love good quality German beer.

Oktoberfest 2016 in Belfast offers the full German experience with quality beer, music, food and Heidi girls. It really is set to be a great way to soak up the atmosphere of the great Munich festival without having to fly over 1,000 miles.

Oktoberfest 2016 at the Kings Hall Belfast will have a full range of beers to meet your palate, including Paulaner Oktoberfest Lager which is only brewed for the Munich Beer Festival.

All the food and beer will be delicious and served by friendly staff in traditional Bavarian costumes. As is tradition in Bavaria the beer will be served in 1 litre glasses (steins).
