Newry schools take part in hate crime workshop with police officers

Police officers from Newtownhamilton, with colleagues from the PSNI College, recently met with Year 8 pupils from four local secondary schools – Newry High School, St Paul’s High School, Bessbrook, St Joseph’s High School, Crossmaglen and Newtownhamilton High School.

Police delivered a presentation on hate crime followed by a discussion with the students.

Included in the picture (right) are police officers who attended with Joanna Ferris, Newtownhamilton High School, Principal of Newtownhamilton High School, Mr Neil Megaw, Maureen O’Gorman, Education Authority Youth Services.
