Witnesses sought after local burglary
Local police are appealing for information following a burglary in Hilltown.
On Sunday, 10th May, it was reported that a house on Kilkeel Road had been broken into.
The property was vacant and under refurbishment. A number of windows were smashed and copper plumbing and the hot water tank were removed, causing extensive damage in the house.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Paul Bloomer called for witnesses. “We would like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation.
“We can be contacted in Warrenpoint on 101, quoting ref: 1008 10/05/15.”
