Man suffers head and face injuries after Newry assault
Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable John Anderson explained, “Around 6pm on Thursday, 6th November, a 36 year old man was walking along Daisy Hill Gardens.
“As he approached the junction of Pound Road he bumped into a male who was with two others. This male assaulted the man who sustained injuries to face and head which required medical treatment.
“The assailant is described as being 5ft 8in tall, of slim build and was wearing a white cap.
He added, “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this assault or has information in relation to it. We can be contacted in Newry on the 101 number, quoting ref: 729131114.
