Police investigate Warrenpoint burglaries

Detectives in Newry are appealing for information following  two burglaries and an attempted burglary in the Warrenpoint area. At approximately 6am on Tuesday 6th December, the occupants of a house in the Seafields area observed a male attempting to break into their shed. The occupants disturbed the male and he made off. A short time later at around 7.53am, the female occupant of a house in the Rostrevor Road area disturbed two males who made off empty handed. At 8.20am it was discovered that a second house on Rostrevor Road had been entered, however nothing was taken.

The male in the first incident is described as being approximately 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing a black jacket with white writing on the shoulder. Police are appealing to anyone who observed any activity in either of these areas during these times or has ifnormation in relation to these incidents to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
