Click Energy launches charity partnership with NSPCC Northern Ireland | News in Newry
Click Energy has announced NSPCC Northern Ireland as its new charity partner, allowing customers to make donations to the organisation each time they top up.
NSPCC Northern Ireland helps protect children from abuse with vital services, including Childline and therapeutic services for children and families across their Hubs in Belfast and Derry, their Speak Out, Stay Safe Programme in schools and Young Witness Service, supporting child victims and witnesses.
The charity also runs an adult helpline which provides advice and support for people contacting with child protection concerns.
The fundraising campaign was officially launched in January 2023, with Click Energy customers now having the option to donate towards the charity each time they visit the top-up page online, via the app or by calling the freephone number 0800 1 070 732.
Philip McDaid, Acting CEO at Click Energy, comments, “Click Energy and our valued customers have helped to support a number of local and regional charities over the years.
“We’re now delighted to be supporting the tremendous work of NSPCC Northern Ireland, who provide an invaluable service in preventing child abuse, helping rebuild children’s lives and supporting families.
“We know from previous fundraisers how extremely generous our customers are and we want to thank everyone in advance for their support of this very deserving campaign.”
Katrina Hughes, Corporate and Events Fundraising Manager for NSPCC Northern Ireland, says, “With our vital local services for children and families running across the city and beyond, we are committed to protecting even more children across Northern Ireland in 2023.
“We know this partnership will help us to continue this fight for every childhood, and we are so grateful to Click Energy and their customers for the support.”
